Ativan Description - Why is Ativan prescribed?

Ativan Side Effects

Your doctor may need to check your progress on a regular basis to make sure this medication is not causing harmful effects. An overdose of Ativan can be fatal. Ativan overdose symptoms may include muscle weakness, fainting, extreme drowsiness, confusion or coma. Get emergency medical help if you have any of these described signs or signs of an allergic reaction, such as hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.
